Sports Health has been named a finalist in the 2026 North Shore Business Excellence Awards – a significant achievement for our team.
Out of an exceptional field, we have been shortlisted for The RSM Excellence in Business Award – Small Enterprise, following a rigorous independent judging process. Winners will be announced at the Awards Gala Dinner on Friday 13 November 2026.
Being named a finalist is already a tremendous privilege. But the next part is entirely in the hands of the people who actually use our service.
Peoples Choice decided by you
Alongside the judged categories, Business North Harbour is running a People’s Choice Award. This isn’t scored by a panel. The winner is decided entirely by public online voting — by the customers, families, clinicians and community who know a business from the inside.

What we actually do
Sports Health exists for a simple reason: recovery should not have to wait on a clinic diary.
We supply and rent proven, home-based recovery equipment so people can start treatment sooner, use it every day, and get back to work, sport and ordinary life faster. We are the New Zealand home of three systems clinicians already know:
- Game Ready – the gold standard in cold and compression therapy—combines NASA-inspired cooling technology with anatomically designed wraps to deliver simultaneous cold and compression to major body areas from head to toe. Designed to reduce pain, inflammation, and swelling after orthopaedic surgery or injury, it provides a drug-free, natural way to support healing and help you recover faster, whether you are managing post-surgery rehabilitation or an elite sports injury.
- Kinetec CPM (Continuous Passive Motion) -A motorized device that gently moves a joint after surgery to support rehabilitation during the early weeks of recovery, helping to reduce stiffness and restoring lost joint function, movement and mobility.
- Melmak Fracture Healing Device – LIPUS (low-intensity pulsed ultrasound) to support bone healing. Used at home for 20 minutes a day, it is designed for fresh fractures, fractures that are slow to heal, and non-unions where the bone has not healed.
